Distribution Fitting

QXL Stat Tools Tab > Distribution Fit/Calc > Distribution Fit

Distribution Fit is a process of finding the distribution that best fits the provided dataset. Quantum XL can find the best distribution fit for you using Auto-Fit, or you may choose from one of several named distributions.

Auto-Fit vs. Named Distribution

Quantum XL will automatically fit all the available distributions and provide a summary of the results. Below is an example of the Auto-Fit feature in Quantum XL. For more information, see the help topic on Auto-Fit. Alternatively, you can choose to have an individual distribution by selecting the name from the menu item.
