Confidence Interval for the Binomial Proportion

Menu Command

QXL Stat Tools Tab > Analysis Tools > Confidence Interval > Binomial (Proportion)

Step #1: Select data source.

Data for confidence intervals can come from an Excel spreadsheet or SQL data source. See source data formats.

Step #2: Confidence Interval Options

Confidence Level: Enter any value between 0 and 1. The default value is .95 for the 95% confidence interval.

Update

Confidence Intervals can be updated. After you create the analysis, you can change its settings, change the data source, or add new data to the data source and simply update the chart.

  • Update: QXL Stat Tools Tab > Update Sheet
  • Change settings: QXL Stat Tools Tab > Modify Analysis
  • Change data source: QXL Stat Tools Tab > Data Source
