Covariance¶
From Excel click...
QXL Stat Tools Tab > Analysis Tools > Correlation and Covariance > Covariance
Calculates the Covariance between datasets.
Step #1: Select data source for Analysis.¶
Example: Below is an example of three datasets ready for analysis.
Step #2: Press Next or Finish¶
Quantum XL will calculate the covariance between each dataset and place it at the intersection in the grid. For example, the covariance between Data Set A and B is 1.0333. Note that the covariance between a dataset and itself is equal to the variance.
