Fit Distribution from Data Options¶
Every control in the Fit Distribution from Data window, and the one control in Mark Input that opens it.
In the Mark Input dialog¶

| Fit Distribution from Data... | Asks for a range of cells, fits every distribution to those values, and opens the results window. Refuses a range holding fewer than four numeric values. |
The button sits at the bottom left of the Mark Input dialog, beside Browse Distribution Gallery.... On a narrow window, or at a high display scaling, the two buttons stack instead of sitting side by side, and this one is the lower of the two.
In the results window¶
The grid¶

| AICc header | Sorts by the corrected Akaike information criterion. |

| Log-likelihood header | Sorts by log-likelihood. |
| Parameters header | Nothing. This column carries no ordering, and pressing it does not change the grid. |
| A row | Selects that distribution. A distribution that could not be fitted cannot be selected. |
Every sortable header sorts one way only. Whichever statistic you press, the distribution most likely to fit the data goes to the top. Pressing the same header a second time does not reverse the order, and the rule is stated under the grid: Click a column header to sort by that statistic. Sorting always places the distribution that is most likely to fit the data at the top.
Each header is reachable with Tab and with the left and right arrow keys, and announces its sort state in words rather than only through the chevron.
The buttons¶

What this window does not have¶
There is no Create Custom Distribution button. Quantum XL v17 offered one here, which built a custom distribution from the same data when none of the offered fits was good enough. The v18 window does not: it fits, ranks and marks, and a custom distribution is built from the Mark Input dialog instead.
There are no fitting settings. The window has no method choice, no confidence level and no tolerance box. It fits every distribution in the catalog with fixed settings, and the columns report the outcome.
