Quantum XL Monte Carlo Features

Build a model of a measurement or a product, describe each input by a distribution rather than a single number, run the simulation, and read what the spread of the inputs does to the outputs.

The commands are on the QXL Monte Carlo New ribbon tab, in three groups: Design for building and marking the model, Monte Carlo for running and analysing it, and Additional Tools for the worksheet tools that sit beside it.

Model Building

QXL Monte Carlo New > Design. Marking the cells, then building or importing the design sheet.

Analyzing the Model

QXL Monte Carlo New > Monte Carlo. Running the simulation and reading the result.

Additional Tools

QXL Monte Carlo New > Additional Tools, and the worksheet tools that go with them.

Latitude Plots, the tutorial

  • Latitude Plots Tutorial: a worked example, from a two-part tolerance stack to a plot you can read, with the arithmetic to check the simulation against. Separate from the Latitude Plot tool page above, which covers every control.
