Options

This engine has no dialog and is never selected by hand. Run Regression chooses it automatically for a quantitative output, so the controls that govern it are the ones on that command.

What decides that this engine runs

The output's declared type on the design sheet. Change the type and a different engine runs; there is no setting anywhere that overrides the choice.

The settings that govern it

These live on the Regression page of QXL DOE New > Options, they are remembered between sessions, and they apply to every workbook. Each is described in full on DOE Options.

Setting What it changes here
Display DOE Advisor on regression sheet whether the Advisor block is written below the regression
Display comments in the regression sheet whether each statistic carries a cell comment
Show P-Value for the uncoded regression whether an uncoded regression prints its P column
Use weighted S-Hat regression stored, and changes no result. See DOE Options
Hierarchy warnings whether a model holding an interaction without its main effects is objected to
