Options¶
This engine has no dialog and is never selected by hand. Run Regression chooses it automatically for an output with exactly two outcomes, so the controls that govern it are the ones on that command.
What decides that this engine runs¶
The output's declared type on the design sheet. Change the type and a different engine runs; there is no setting anywhere that overrides the choice.
The settings that govern it¶
These live on the Regression page of QXL DOE New > Options, they are remembered between sessions, and they apply to every workbook. Each is described in full on DOE Options.
| Setting | What it changes here |
|---|---|
| Display DOE Advisor on regression sheet | whether the Advisor block is written below the regression |
| Display comments in the regression sheet | whether each statistic carries a cell comment |
| Show P-Value for the uncoded regression | whether an uncoded regression prints its P column |
| Use weighted S-Hat regression | stored, and changes no result. See DOE Options |
| Hierarchy warnings | whether a model holding an interaction without its main effects is objected to |
