Options

This command has no dialog of its own. It runs on the active sheet and takes everything it needs from that sheet and from the settings below, so there is nothing to fill in when you start it.

What it reads off the sheet

Read from What it decides
the design sheet's model definition which terms are fitted
each output's declared type which engine runs: ordinary least squares for a quantitative output, binary or nominal logistic for a categorical one
the coding instructions on the sheet whether the fit is in coded or real units. Uncoded Coefficients is the same fit with those instructions ignored
the response columns the runs with no response are left out of the fit

The one dialog it can raise

A custom design may not carry everything the fit needs. When that is so, the first analysis on it asks for the missing information before it runs, and that page is described on Custom Designs. Every other design type goes straight to the fit.

The settings that govern it

These live on the Regression page of QXL DOE New > Options, they are remembered between sessions, and they apply to every workbook. Each is described in full on DOE Options.

Setting What it changes here
Display DOE Advisor on regression sheet whether the Advisor block is written below the regression
Display comments in the regression sheet whether each statistic carries a cell comment
Show P-Value for the uncoded regression whether an uncoded regression prints its P column
Use weighted S-Hat regression stored, and changes no result. See DOE Options
Hierarchy warnings whether a model holding an interaction without its main effects is objected to
