Installation

System Requirements

Operating System	Windows 10 or later (x64)
Runtime	.NET 8.0 Runtime
Disk Space	~50 MB

Desktop Application (UI)

1. Download the ProTest installer from sigmazone.com/protest
2. Run the installer and follow the prompts
3. Launch ProTest from the Start menu or desktop shortcut

Command-Line Interface (CLI)

The CLI is included with the desktop installation. You can also install it standalone:

1. Download ProTest.Cli.zip from sigmazone.com/protest
2. Extract to a folder of your choice
3. Ensure ProTest.Cli.exe and pict.dll are in the same directory
4. Optionally, add the folder to your system PATH

Verify Installation

protest --version

Part of Quantum XL v18

ProTest is also included as a component of Quantum XL v18. If you have Quantum XL installed, ProTest is already available.
